北京時間 11 月 11 日 22:14，FTX 官方發布公告稱，包括 Alameda Research、FTX US 在內的 134 家相關實體（合稱 FTX Group）已根據美國《破產法》第 11 章向特拉華州地方法院申請破產重組。
與此同時，SBF 也正式辭去了 FTX Group 的首席執行官一職，該職位將由 Ray & Counsel 律師事務所的負責人 John J.Ray Ⅲ 接任，後者擁有超過 20 年的商業訴訟經歷，曾在知名的“安然破產大案”中擔任相關債務清算公司的負責人。針對當前的局面，Ray 表示根據《破產法》第 11 章申請破產保護是制定下一步計劃的必要步驟，目前 Alvarez & Marsal、Sullivan 和 Cromwell 正為 FTX 破產重組提供建議。
根據 Alameda Research 同步提交給法院的相關文件中，我們可以獲悉更為準確的數字（實際也只是個區間）。其中，Alameda Research 在債權人數量的選項中填報的是“預計超過 10 萬人”，而在資產及負債規模選項中 Alameda Research 填報的則均為“100 億美元 – 500美元”。
