微軟和Relic發布了《帝國時代4》的官方PC系統配置。根據規格要求，遊戲將需要50GB的空閑硬盤空間，並將使用DX12 API。遊戲的最低要求包括英特爾酷睿i5-6300U和AMD Ryzen 5 2400G CPU，沒有AVX指令集的CPU也沒法進行遊戲。此外，遊戲至少需要8GB內存，顯卡方面最低要求為英特爾HD 520或AMD Radeon RX Vega 11。
Relic推薦使用6核(Intel i5)或AMD Ryzen 5 1600 CPU以及16GB內存。推薦顯卡標準為Nvidia GeForce 970 GPU或AMD Radeon RX 570 GPU以上。
《帝國時代4》將於10月28日發行。
