據外媒報道,大英圖書館將其檔案中的報紙副本數字化的項目將發布一百萬頁報紙作為免費資源。英國報紙檔案館(BNA)擁有超過4400萬頁報紙,主要是英國和愛爾蘭的報紙,時間範圍為1699年到2009年,佔大英圖書館所有報紙的不到10%。目前,每月約有50萬頁被添加到BNA中。
